Finally, navigate to Settings > Reading and select "A static page" and assign the "Homepage" for "Homepage:" .
If you haven't applied these setting above, your homepage sections will not be displayed.

To set up the blog, you must create a new page, you can do so by navigating to Pages > Add New. You can give this page a title of "Blog" yet you do not have to include any content. Click Publish button.
Once you have created your new page, navigate to Settings > Reading and select "A static page" and assign the "Blog" for "Posts Page:"
You can also tailor the look of your blog page by going Theme Options.
If you haven't applied these setting above, your blog page will not be displayed.
After that you can create new blog posts.
Adding new posts works similar to standard WordPress Posts > Add New. All posts will be displayed on the blog page.
Emporium comes with 4 different post formats: Standard, Gallery, Video and Audio Posts. Please ensure that you have installed/activated the included plugin called Vafpress Post Formats UI. When you're creating a new post, choose what post format you'd like from the tab options below the text editor, and insert the necessary content.
Adding new page works similar to standard WordPress Pages > Add New. In right section you will find Page Attributes and from Template dropdown you can choose how your page will look: it can be Default (with sidebar) or Full Width. Note: Homepage template for only Homepage.
You can also add an image to your page (Featured Image section).
After installed and activated Contact Form 7 plugin, then you must create form in Contact > Contact Forms. For display contact form similar on Emporium demo please use following html structure:
[text* your-name class:browser-default]
[email* your-email class:browser-default]
[text your-subject class:browser-default]
[textarea your-message 40x10 class:browser-default]
[submit class:btn class:primary class:waves-effect class:waves-light "Send Mail"]
Then copy shortcode and paste it on your Contact Page for display contact form.
You can manage widgets on the Widgets page (Appearance > Widgets).
Emporium comes with 4 different custom widgets:
Emporium use some recommended plugins:
1. After installing and activation Currency Switcher for WooCommerce plugin go to Woocommerce > Settings and click Currency tab. Here you can set default currency, upload flags and etc. options for currency switcher.
2. After installing and activation YITH WooCommerce Compare plugin go to YITH > Compare and in General Settings select link from Link or Button dropdown. Then check Show button in products list. Finally click Save Changes button.
3. After installing and activation YITH WooCommerce Quick View plugin go to YITH > Quick View and in General Options remove Quick View Button Label, because theme will display icon instead of label. Finally click Save Changes button.
4. After installing and activation YITH WooCommerce Wishlist plugin, create new page with title My Wishlist, then go to YITH > Wishlist and select this page from Wishlist Page dropdown list. And for Position choose Use shortcode from dropdown list. Don't forget add wishlist shortcode to your My Wishlist page content. Finally click Save Changes button.
To translate this theme, I recommend using the .mo and .po files. These files work in pairs, so for each language you need to have 2 files with the same name but a different extension. For example, if you want to translate the theme into Turkish language, your files would be tr_TR.mo and tr_TR.po.
At first, you need to create these files. For this you need to use Poedit software which is very easy to use. You can download it here. After installation Poedit software, you need to run it. Then, in Poedit go to File > New from POT/PO file..., select and open the pot file from the "languages" folder (/languages/emporium.pot). After that you just need to select your language, add translation, and save your changes.
Now you have .mo and .po files with your translation, and all you need to do is upload these both files into the "languages" folder on your server (/wp-content/themes/emporium/languages/).
